Our mission is to establish a platform where Black voices are amplified, cultural contributions are acknowledged, and shared humanity is emphasized.

Also Available in Black was established by Octavia Findlay, following the successful foundation of her consultancy firm, Ashley Azella Ltd. As an experienced leadership and management consultant, Octavia specialises in diversity and public sector system redesign, advocating for inclusivity. Inspired by her Caribbean heritage and the narratives of the Black British community, she celebrates cultural richness, addresses systemic challenges, and highlights the humanity of Black lives.

Growing up in a household rich with stories of Caribbean heritage and migration, Octavia developed a profound appreciation for the cultural tapestry of Black Britain. Inspired by these experiences and a career spent bridging gaps in understanding, she envisioned Also Available in Black as a platform to celebrate and amplify the often-overlooked contributions of Black Britons.
